Elvis Presley Hologram Concert Set to Debut in London

Published January 4, 2024

London is set to host an extraordinary event where the iconic 'King of Rock ā€˜nā€™ Roll', Elvis Presley, will be brought back to the stage through the power of artificial intelligence and holographic technology. The 'Elvis Evolution' experience is scheduled to make its grand entry to the public in November 2024.

A Revolutionary Tribute to Elvis Presley

The concert experience will create a lifelike projection of Elvis, using a vast collection of the legend's personal photos and home-video footage. The digital resurrection of the music star is designed to allow fans to witness a life-size Presley performing once again, promising a contemporary celebration of his life and enduring musical influence.

Collaboration Between Entertainment Innovators and Presley's Estate

Layered Reality, a British immersive entertainment company, has teamed up with Authentic Brands Group, who is the custodian of the Elvis Presley estate, to craft this visionary concert. 'Elvis Evolution' is poised to be an engaging, next-generation homage to the star, with shows also anticipated in major cities like Las Vegas, Tokyo, and Berlin.

Immersive Entertainment

The aim is to offer an interactive entertainment experience. Andrew McGuinness, the CEO of Layered Reality, emphasized that modern audiences crave involvement in their entertainment experiences, and 'Elvis Evolution' will let them immerse themselves in the world of Elvis. Marc Rosen, of Authentic Brands Group, also expressed excitement about providing fans with a novel way to connect with Presley's legacy.

Complementing the show, an Elvis-themed bar and restaurant will also be set up at the central London venue, providing an after-party atmosphere complete with live music, DJs, and additional performances.

Inspiration and Precedents

This immersive concert follows the trend set by performances like Abba Voyage, where avatars of the legendary Swedish pop group entertain fans in a dedicated arena, and the virtual avatar unveilings of American rock band Kiss.
