Norfolk Musical Arts Festival Registration Deadline is Near

As the Norfolk Musical Arts Festival nears its 38th year, organizers are reminding potential participants that the registration deadline for the event is just around the corner on January 15th. This longstanding festival has showcased nearly four decades of local talent and will take place from February 26th to March 1st, hosted by various churches in Simcoe.

A Celebration of Diverse Musical Disciplines

Participants from Norfolk and beyond, which could include up to 1,000 entrants, are preparing for performances across a variety of disciplines. These include both competitive and non-competitive showcases in areas such as piano, strings, vocal music, bands, choirs, and speech arts which extends to English and French categories. The festival stands out for offering unique opportunities in speech arts, with past entries presenting everything from poetry to film scenes.

The festival’s foundation is built on the belief that everyone has a voice that deserves to be heard. The event provides youth with a platform to perform publicly, greatly enhancing their expressive abilities.
