Beverley McGarvey Takes on Expanded Leadership Role at Paramount

Paramount Global has recently advanced Beverley McGarvey within its ranks, bestowing upon her the title of president at Network 10, as well as entrusting her with the pivotal roles of head of streaming and regional lead for both Australia and New Zealand.

In her enhanced role, McGarvey will commandeer both the commercial and creative directions of Paramount's multiplatform operations down under. She will have control over Network 10 and its array of associated brands, including the 10 Play service. Additionally, her duties will continue to involve the management of original Australian content, coordinating with the global studio division to ensure alignment with the company's commercial strengths. Paramount+'s Australian operations will also remain under her expert guidance.

Reporting duties for McGarvey will be split between Pam Kaufman, who operates as the president and CEO of international markets, global consumer products and experiences, and Marco Nobili, the executive VP and international general manager of Paramount+, with the latter overseeing the Paramount+ side of her responsibilities.

Kaufman has praised McGarvey as a top-tier media executive within Australia, noting her consistent delivery of creative and commercial triumphs. She expressed confidence in McGarvey's leadership, emphasizing the importance of the Australian market to Paramount and highlighting the company's unique market position through its amalgamation of free-to-air television and compelling streaming platforms, all fueled by an impressive global content repository and Australian originals.
