All Aloud Community Choir To Host Christmas Charity Concert

The All Aloud Community Choir of Albox is gearing up to spread festive cheer with a Christmas Concert slated for December 15. The Kubatin Bar, located behind the Hostal Meson in Arboleas, will play host to this festive event scheduled to start at 7.30 pm.

This year's concert is not just about bringing holiday spirit to the community; it's also a show of support for the national Spanish cancer charity Asociacion Espanola de Cancer (AECC). The organization plays a crucial role in offering support to those affected by cancer, regardless of nationality, and relies on local branches for fundraising activities. The All Aloud Community Choir is honored to contribute to such a noble cause through this event.

Originally, the concert was planned for July in Vera, but its postponement was necessary due to the venue's use as a Polling Station during the unexpected Spanish General Election. The decision was ultimately made to hold the concert during the festive Christmas period.

The ensemble is prepared to enchant the audience with a diverse selection of Christmas melodies that include timeless classics and modern favorites. Additionally, the repertoire will feature less common songs, pieces infused with humor, and a special musical homage to their Spanish hosts.

Audience members will be given song sheets to join in for a segment specifically designed for communal singing. Though entry to the concert is free, donations are encouraged, with all proceeds going to the AECC. The evening promises to be a delightful mix of music, camaraderie, and laughter.
