Folk Dance Celebration

Get ready to sway to the rhythm as the Humboldt Folk Dancers are set to host an exciting international folk dance party. The event, complete with live music by Chubritza, will take place Friday from 8 to 10:30 p.m. at the Redwood Raks World Dance Studio in Arcata. The festive night welcomes everyone, with easy dances suitable for all ages and skill levels, with a $5 to $10 sliding scale for admissions, yet ensuring funds are not a barrier to participation. Historical Talk

The Clarke Museum in collaboration with the Historical Society and County Library invites you to its 'Saturday Speaker Series'. This Saturday at 2:30 p.m., engage with local historian Lynette Mullen as she delves into a notorious double murder case from Humboldt County's past. For those who can't make it in person, the museum will also broadcast the event live on YouTube.

Nature and Bird Watching

Join the Redwood Region Audubon Society for a free and educational nature walk at the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary. Month's Intellect

A highlight of the American Association of University Women's monthly meeting will be the talk by Arne Jacobson, who is set to discuss the Schatz Energy Research Center's innovative projects.
