In a show of support and encouragement, distinguished Israeli musicians will be visiting military bases and strategic assembly areas to entertain the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers who are currently involved in missions in the Gaza region. This initiative is a collaboration between Israel's Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Culture and Sports, established to bolster the morale of troops engaged in combat and defense efforts.

A Concert Series for the Troops

A number of Israel's most celebrated artists, totaling about 140, will be part of this effort, bringing music and laughter to soldiers in the field. The project, known as "Stronger Than the Wind", has been funded with a budget of 4 million new shekels. Kicking off this week, soldiers can expect to see performances by leading figures in the music and entertainment industry, designed to provide them with a much-needed respite from their arduous duties.

A Star-Studded Lineup for the IDF

According to the announcement made by Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Culture and Sports Minister Miki Zohar, the lineup will feature a mix of seasoned artists and fresh talent. Renowned names such as Ravid Plotnik, Dudu Tassa, Eviatar Banai, and Ishay Ribo are slated to serenade the soldiers, with other performers set to join the initiative. In addition to music, the soldiers can also look forward to stand-up comedy acts sure to lift their spirits. The coordination of the performances falls under the purview of the IDF's Operations Directorate.
