Korean boy band Ateez has successfully launched their second world tour with a stunning two-day concert in Seoul, setting the stage for an international musical odyssey. The tour, aptly named Towards The Light: Will To Power, began with a sensational weekend showcase at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium, where a crowd of 15,000 fans cheered vigorously for the eight-member ensemble.

Seoul Concert Marks Tour's Grand Beginning

The weekend concerts kicked off Ateez's world tour, directly following their recent musical releases which include their 8th and 9th mini albums titled The World Ep.1: Movement and The World Ep.2: Outlaw, as well as their second full-length album titled The World Ep. Fin: Will. Collectively known as 'The World Series', these albums embody the group's determination to progress without succumbing to external judgment.

Dramatic Staging and Powerful Performances

Rising through thick mist under the glow of red lights, Ateez began their concert with the song 'Crazy Form'. The group's leader Hongjoong expressed their commitment to showcasing their growth, reflecting their diligent preparation. The concert also featured a 16-meter tower center stage, symbolizing a surveillance tower, around which members performed escape acts, resonating with the tour's theme of staying true to oneself amidst external pressures.

The group wowed fans with a three-hour spectacle, delivering 25 songs including hits such as 'Say My Name', 'Guerrilla', and 'Bouncy', complemented by dynamic choreography and emotive acting. The stage designs varied, with performances like 'Arriba' and 'Django' infused with exotic rhythms and a distinctive Western flair.

Individual Talent Shines Through

Throughout the show, members also shone individually and in subunits. San, Yeosang, and Wooyoung dazzled in ivory outfits with 'It's You', while Mingi and Yunho delivered a poignant duet in 'Youth'. Jongho executed 'Everything' with impeccable vocals, and Hongjoong alongside Seonghwa brought an intense hip-hop vibe with 'MATZ'.

Emotional Connections and Upcoming Engagements

The concert culminated with an emotional display of fan messages, to which member San vowed to demonstrate Ateez's capabilities through performance rather than mere words. Yunho shared his heartfelt happiness, and Hongjoong excited fans with the announcement of a fan meeting to be held in Seoul come July. Ateez's next tour destination will be Saitama Super Arena in Japan, promising further memorable performances for their global fanbase.
