Good Head Debut Original Songs in Sun Session

Published March 21, 2024

The band Good Head took to the stage during the latest Sun Session to showcase their original music. In a special collaboration, these sessions are put together by Electric Buffalo Records, the student-run label aimed at bringing Cornell students' musical talents to the forefront.

Good Head's Emergence

Nick Wilson, Vincent Tedesco, Owen Mowry, Joseph Wolff, and Will Moss, all students slated to graduate in '26, brought three homegrown tracks to life: 'Super Celsius,' 'JoeBass,' and 'Klimbe.' The formation of Good Head can be traced back to Wolff and Tedesco's fortuitous meeting in a bowling class. Moss came into the picture through a shared connection while Mowry joined a year later. Wilson, Wolff's hallway neighbor, became the final addition to the band just two months ago.

Upcoming Activities and Releases

With an eye on the future, Good Head is gearing up for live performances at venues like Deep Dive and the Sacred Root Kava Lounge and Tea Bar. Additionally, the band is working towards the release of an EP before the semester wraps up.

Each Sun Session, filmed against the classic vinyl backdrop of the WVBR-FM station, is designed to offer an intimate setting that highlights Cornell's diverse musical scene.

Production Credits

The session was brought to life by the efforts of a production team consisting of Emma May, Marian Caballo, Lily Baird, Brayan Angomas, with sound engineering by Will Swartzentruber, and an interview by Lily Josephson.
