Annual Chino Days Festival Brings Music and Fun for Families

Published March 9, 2024

The city is gearing up for the much-anticipated second Chino Days Festival, offering an array of activities for all ages. This year, the event will unfold over two days, from March 16-17, at the Chino Civic Center, located at 13220 Central Ave. It promises to be a joyous celebration of community spirit and entertainment.

Festival Schedule and Attractions

The festival kicks off at 2 pm on March 16 and will continue until 8 pm, while the second day starts earlier at 11 am and wraps up at 5 pm. Attendees can look forward to a vibrant lineup of live music. The country Western group Young Guns will take the stage on the first day, while the 1980s enthusiasts can enjoy The Flux Capacitors on the final day. Beyond the tunes, festival-goers can enjoy mini train rides and various interactive activities.

Activities for Everyone

The Chino Days Festival is not just about music; there’s fun for the whole family to dive into. With inflatable games, writing and chalk art contests, and a variety of food and retail vendors, there's no shortage of things to see and do. Adding to the excitement is an alumni pie-eating contest, pitting Don Lugo against Chino high schools in a friendly competition.

A Cause for Support

The event also provides a chance for participants to own a piece of Chino history. Retired city street signs will be on sale at the Neighborhood Activity Center on D Street, with proceeds benefiting the Chino Youth Museum Foundation. This initiative supports children's programming in the Chino Valley.
